Version: Copernic Desktop Search 3.0.0 Build 74
Pros: Finds stuff
Cons: Can't open emails from Outlook, no longer freeware
Summary: 2.3 was a great product. Indexed eveything, I could open Outlook emails. It was also free. This product is a pay product for business users. There is no reason to upgrade. read more

Version: Copernic Desktop Search 3.0.0 Build 74
Pros: Not much! None! Not any!
Cons: Doesn't work for long. Lousy user interface.
Summary: At first it worked, then it wouldn't. Took hours and hours to index my hard drive. Then it lost any ability to find its own index. It wanted to start to re-index the whole thing. It took days to index a data DVD, then the lost that too.I never cleare... read more

"Previous version 2.3 Build 18 was the best around"
Pros: Read my review of version 2.3
Cons: I do not like how this version upgrades without telling you that the My Searches facility will not be available unless you purchase the full product.
It also deletes all My Searches saved from version 2.3Summary: DO NOT UPGRADE TO VERSION 3.
Version 3 has been cut down to make you purchase the product with the facilities available in version 2. You will lose the valuable My Searches facility.
